Florida: Using your ESA account

Navigating Florida's EMA website to invoice AlphaAnywhere

Updated over 2 months ago

What This Process Does

When you submit payment through Florida's EMA (Education Marketplace Account) website, you're creating an invoice that allows us to receive your ESA funds directly. This is the official method for using your scholarship dollars to pay for Alpha Anywhere.

Why This Matters

The EMA portal is the bridge between your allocated ESA funds and our services. By completing this process, you authorize the state to release payment to us on your behalf. Without this step, we cannot access your ESA funds, even if you're enrolled with us.

Step-by-Step Video Guide

Navigating government websites can be confusing, so we've created a detailed walkthrough to guide you through each screen.

What You'll Need

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • Your EMA login credentials

  • Awarded scholarship funds by the state of Florida

  • The amount you wish to allocate

Timeline

Once you submit the invoice through EMA:

  • Allow 2-3 business days for processing

  • We'll receive confirmation once payment is approved

  • You'll see the invoiced amount show directly in your EduPaid account under ESA funds
