1. Depositing Your Alphas
When students earn Alphas, they must be deposited into ClassBank. This is required before they can be saved or used for rewards.
How to deposit:
Log in
Go to Deposit
Enter the Alpha amount
Complete the quick addition problem
Your Checking Account balance updates automatically
Deposits work like putting money into a real bank account.
2. Checking vs Savings Accounts
Students have two Alpha accounts:
Checking Account
All newly deposited Alphas go here first
Savings Account
Students can transfer Alphas here if they want to save for bigger rewards
Transfers can be done anytime.
3. Withdrawing Alphas
A withdrawal is needed if a student has:
Pending transactions
Needs to correct a balance
Needs to move Alphas back to Checking
To withdraw:
Enter the amount
Complete the subtraction problem
This keeps the account accurate.
4. Redeeming Alphas for Gift Cards
Students can use their Alphas to buy gift cards in the ClassBank Store.
How to redeem:
Open your Class
Go to the Store
Choose the gift card you want
Click Add to Cart
Complete the subtraction check
Resolve any pending withdrawals
Select Pay Now
If the student doesn’t have enough Alphas:
The system shows how many more they need
They can keep saving in the Savings Account
5. When Gift Cards Are Delivered
Gift cards are processed:
Mondays to Fridays
And always within 24 - 48 hours
Students usually receive their rewards before the weekend.

We’ve partnered with a rewards platform called Tremendous, which has helped us streamline the gift card purchasing and fulfillment process.
The image you see is what your child's reward will look like, sent to your email address on file. Please save the email [email protected] as a trusted email (so it does not get sent to junk/promotions) and keep your eyes on your inbox within 24 hours or so of the time your child requests their reward.

Always deposit earned Alphas right away
Use the Savings Account for bigger rewards
Complete pending withdrawals before redeeming
Parents can view Alpha activity through their parent dashboard
