There are two separate ways to log into Dash, and they serve different purposes. The short version: students always log in through StudyReel. Parents log in directly through the Dash website. Lessons completed from the parent login are not tracked and will not count.
Student Login (Through StudyReel)
Your child must access Dash through StudyReel every time. This is the only way their work gets recorded.
Open the StudyReel application on the computer (not a web browser).
On the StudyReel login screen, click "Continue with Google."
Enter your child's program email. This is typically [email protected] and was included in your enrollment invitation.
Enter the password: iloveschool (all lowercase, no spaces, no numbers).
After logging in, StudyReel will ask permission to record screen activity. Click "Allow." You will see a blue countdown circle, then a blue border will appear around the screen. That border confirms StudyReel is recording and your child's work will be tracked.
Inside StudyReel, you will see a second login screen for Dash. Click "Login with Google" and use the same credentials. Once in, click the graduation cap icon to open "My Required Learning." This is where your child starts each day.
If the blue border is not visible, StudyReel is not recording. Work completed without it will not count. Stop, check that Screen Recording permission is enabled, and start the session again.
Parent Login (Through the Dash Website)
Your parent login lets you monitor your child's progress and view their data. It is separate from your child's account and is not for completing lessons.
Go to https://dash.2hourlearning.com from a desktop or laptop.
On your first visit, click "Forgot Password."
Enter the email address your enrollment invitation was sent to.
You will receive a link to set your password.
After that, you can log in any time to view your child's progress.
Do not complete any lessons from the parent account. Lessons done from the parent login are not recorded and cannot be recovered. Your child will need to redo them through StudyReel.
Troubleshooting
The password isn't working for my child's StudyReel login.
The default student password is iloveschool (all lowercase, no numbers, no special characters). Make sure you are clicking "Continue with Google" and entering the @2hourlearning.com email with that password.
The password isn't working for my parent Dash login.
If you have never logged in before, use "Forgot Password" to set your password. If it still does not work, contact the Parent Experience Team.
I accidentally did lessons from the parent account.
Those lessons will not count, and there is no way to recover them. Your child will need to complete them again through StudyReel. Going forward, all learning should happen through StudyReel, not the Dash website.
StudyReel is asking me to log in a second time after I already logged in.
That is normal. The first login is to StudyReel. The second login (inside the blue border) is to the Dash platform. Use the same @2hourlearning.com credentials for both.
