Your parent portal is where you can see exactly what your child is working on and how well they're mastering it. It has two main tabs: Goals and Mastery. This guide walks through what each one shows.
A quick note on XP: Throughout the portal, progress is measured in XP. 1 XP is roughly 1 minute of focused, effective work, at 80% accuracy, not just time with the screen open.
The Goals tab
The Goals tab shows your child's daily and weekly goals, grouped by subject. Every learner has a specific daily goal for each subject, and those daily goals add up to a weekly goal. A goal can be met through a combination of coursework and tests.

You can change the date (black arrow) or the day or week (green box) you're reviewing and toggle filters (purple arrow) to see all metrics instead of just XP.
The yellow box shows the active time spent. (Some apps like Vocabloco and Literably don't track time, so their minutes aren't included here.)
The red box shows the total XP earned for the period.
The blue box shows each subject/course and its individual metrics. Clicking into the course will redirect you to the course page with more details.
The "Heads up" banner
Sometimes a subject in the Goals tab list will show a "Heads up" banner. This shows up when your child's most recent test in that subject drops 20 or more points from their previous attempt in the same subject - for example, going from 70% to 45% on consecutive tests.
The banner now names the subject directly, so you'll know exactly where to look. Tap that subject to see the specific test that triggered it, along with the lessons and recent work around it.
A few things worth knowing:
The banner clears on its own once your child's next test in that subject doesn't show another big drop.
A subject that's simply holding at a low score (not dropping) won't trigger the banner, since it's specifically watching for a sudden change.
If you want a closer look at the trend over time rather than a single test, the Mastery tab shows a progression of results across all attempts.
The Subject block
When you click into a subject, you'll see the details of everything in progress for it:
The lessons and the app in which your child is working, each with its own XP goal and expectations, plus the lesson plan and progress when available.
Course XP earned for the current day and the current week.
Test XP earned for the current week. Clicking this takes you straight to the Mastery tab.
The lesson plan and activity feed are ordered by time, newest first, so the most recent work is always at the top.

The Mastery tab
The Mastery tab is where you see how your child is progressing in each subject (Mastery tests over time. It shows every subject your child has taken at least one test in.
For each subject, you'll find:
A line graph showing the historical progression of their results over time.
The Mastery Track: to see exactly how you are progressing toward your goals; the course being worked on, tests taken, and pending tests.
Mastery tab: a subject's progression above their mastery track.
The Schedule Tab
See what’s on your child’s week
You see all your child’s upcoming coaching meetings, if they’re in coaching, and their Life Skills builder hours. These are the open times when they’ll meet other students and get help. All in one place, so you can see what’s coming at a glance.

The Report Tab
The Report tab is where you view your child's initial enrollment results and Learning Plan based on the initial MAP Screener (these enrollment scores are fixed and won't update here), and download a comprehensive report of learning activity, assessments, and skill mastery within a selected date range.

Select the date range, and click "Generate transcript" to download a PDF.
