The Schedule page shows all of your children's calls on one calendar: their coaching calls with their coach, their squad meetings, their Friday celebration calls, and their Life Skills sessions. It's also where you tell a coach your child will miss a call.
Finding your schedule
In the parent portal, open Schedule in the sidebar, just under Feed.
Or, on your home page, tap See full schedule under Coming up.
Reading the schedule
One colour per child. Each child's calls are shown in their profile colour. If you have more than one child, tap a child's name above the calendar to hide or show their calls.
Week or a few days. On a computer, switch between Week and 3 days. On a phone, switch between Day and 3 days, and tap a day in the strip at the top to jump to it.
Moving around. Use the arrows to go back or forward, Today to come back to this week, or tap the date to pick any day.
Your timezone. Times are shown in your device's time zone, and the page says which one (for example, "Times in Pacific Time (PDT)").
Call details. Tap a call to see its time, which child it's for, and who's running it.
Learning days and days off
Under each date, a small dot for each child shows whether it's a learning day or a day off for them. A day that's off for everyone is shaded. Tap the dots to see who is off, and tap a child there to open their learning calendar, which is where days off are changed.
When your child can't make a coaching call
You can skip any of your child's coaching calls (their 1:1, their squad meeting or their Friday call) right up until the call ends. You don't need a reason, but a short one helps the coach.
Tap the call on the Schedule page.
Tap Skip this session.
Add a reason if you like (for example, "Doctor's appointment"), then tap Skip session.
What happens next:
The coach is told by email and in their coaching app, with your reason if you gave one.
Your child is taken off that one call. Every other week stays exactly as it was.
The call stays on your schedule, marked Skipped, so you can see what was missed. It's also marked Skipped in the Sessions list on your child's Dash tab.
In your child's own app, the call shows as skipped, with no Join button and no reminder.
Changed your mind?
Tap the call and choose Undo skip. Your child goes back on the call, and the coach is told they'll be there after all.
You can undo a skip up to 12 hours before the call starts, so your child's coach can plan around it. After that, the skip stands; message your coach if plans change.
If the call was a 1:1 (or everyone in the group skipped it), it comes off the coach's calendar. If your coach has since booked something else at that time, the call can't be restored, and you'll see a message saying so.
Good to know: skipping doesn't move a call to another time; it just lets the coach know your child will miss this one.
Common questions
My child can't make coaching today. What do I do?
Open Schedule, tap today's call, and choose Skip this session. The coach is told straight away.
How do I cancel one coaching session?
Skip it from the Schedule page. It only affects that one call; the rest of your child's sessions carry on as normal.
I skipped a call by mistake. Can I undo it?
Yes, up to 12 hours before the call starts: tap the call and choose Undo skip.
Can I see all my kids' calls in one place?
Yes. The Schedule page shows every child's coaching calls and Life Skills sessions on one calendar, each in their own colour.
Will I get an email when I skip a call?
No. The call shows as Skipped on your schedule straight away; that's your confirmation. The email goes to the coach.
Why are the times different from my child's coach's?
The schedule shows times in the time zone of the device you're using. The page tells you which time zone that is.
