Logging into Dash happens in now of two ways depending on if your a student ready to master some skills or a parent wanting to check in on progress and data.
Parents Dash access
As parents, you will also have your own login for Dash where you can follow your child’s progress. This is a great way for you to support and motivate your child as they complete their academics.
It is super important that you do not complete any lessons when logging into Dash this way. Lessons are not counted when you sign in from the parent account. Lessons are only recorded when accessed via StudyReel. (see the next steps)
You will now lessons are being counted and tracked when you see the blue StudyReel border around the screen.
Here is how to access your parent/guardian Dash:
Navigate to https://dash.2hourlearning.com from a desktop or laptop computer
For your first login, click on, “Forgot Password” here:
On the next screen, type your email address. Use the same one we sent your invitation email to. You will receive a link to set up your own password.
If, for some reason, you have found your way into a secret dimension and you are instead prompted for a password when following these steps, it is “iloveschool1!” (without quotation marks).
Feel free to test your login and start getting acquainted with the data and resources available to you.
Student StudyReel & Dash access
Students should access Dash and their daily learning through StudyReel every time. The login screen looks like this.
From this screen:
Click on "Continue with Google"
Enter your child's program email address. This usually ends with "@2hourlearning.com"
Enter your child's password. The default password is, "iloveschool" without the quotation marks.
Starting the recording:
You must choose "Allow" to permit StudyReel to record the screen's activity.
You will see a blue countdown circle, indicating that your session is about to start. You should now see a blue border around the screen. This is the recording perimeter and confirms the program is now watching all screen activity to help you support good learning and study habits, as well as track your child's learning progress.
You should now see this screen. Here, you will once again choose "Login with Google" and use the same information from above to login.
You should now be logged into StudyReel and ready to start your daily learning. To access the "My Required Learning" screen to get started, just click the grad cap icon shown with the red arrow to get started.
After a short loading screen, you should now have your child's skill plan for each subject and be ready to dive in.
