What Rocket Math Is
Rocket Math builds speed and confidence with basic math facts: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The goal is to make these automatic so your child can focus on harder math. It is assigned to every Alpha Anywhere student alongside the other tools in the program.
How to Log In to Rocket Math
In StudyReel, open Dash and find your child's Rocket Math lesson (at the bottom of the page).
Click the key icon next to the lesson.
Click the Copy to clipboard button.
Open the Rocket Math site and paste the credentials when prompted.

If the key icon is not appearing in Dash, you can log in directly using these credentials instead:

How Much Should Your Child Do?
Two 10-minute sessions per day is the recommended amount. Shorter, consistent practice tends to build fluency more effectively than longer, occasional sessions. As your child's speed improves, Rocket Math will gradually introduce harder operations on its own, so there is nothing you need to adjust manually.
What You Will (and Won’t) See in Dash
Rocket Math does not show in daily activity rings. Your child does not earn Alphas for Rocket Math. This is intentional. Progress happens inside Rocket Math. Over time, the system increases in difficulty as your child improves.

Fast Math tests measure the same skills Rocket Math builds:
Appear every Monday
Are taken inside Edulastic
Determine when your child is ready for harder math facts
Rocket Math = daily practice
Fast Math = weekly check

The login key is not showing up in Dash
This happens occasionally. The backup credentials above work just as well, so feel free to use those while the issue is looked into. If you would like it resolved, please contact the Parent Experience Team.
Rocket Math work is not showing up in Dash
This is expected and is not a sign that anything is wrong. Rocket Math tracks its own progress internally rather than sending it to Dash. Your child's work is being saved, just not in the same place as their other activity.
Your child is not earning Alphas for Rocket Math
Rocket Math is not an Alpha-earning activity for any student.
