Zearn

Setup, Login and Troubleshooting

Updated over a week ago

Zearn delivers math instruction through a mix of guided digital lessons and conceptual exercises. It reinforces and deepens what your child is learning in their core math work, which happens in IXL.

Zearn is supplemental, meaning your child's daily math goals and progress tracking are handled through IXL, not Zearn. Not every student is assigned Zearn. If it appears in your child's Dash, it is part of their learning plan. If it does not appear, your child does not need it right now.

How to Log In

  1. Open your child's Zearn lesson link in Dash (inside StudyReel).

  2. Select Sign in with Google.

  3. Enter your child's credentials:

That's it. Your child is now inside Zearn and can start their lesson.

If you see an error saying the account doesn't exist: Do not try to create an account yourself. Contact the Parent Experience Team and they will set it up for you.

If You Can't Log In

Check the email address first. It should be exactly [email protected] with a period between first and last name.

Check that you're selecting the right Google account. If multiple Google accounts are signed in on the device, make sure you're choosing your child's Alpha Anywhere account, not a personal Gmail.

If the correct credentials still don't work, contact the Parent Experience Team. They'll resolve it quickly.

The "TX" Logo Issue

If you see "TX" next to the Zearn logo when your child logs in, it means their account was set up under the wrong region (Texas).

This should be fixed. Contact the Parent Experience Team and they'll reassign your child to the correct classroom.
