How the Alpha Anywhere Life Skills Program Works?

The two-track structure, age grouping, and what to expect during the beta.

This program is currently in closed beta. General enrollment opens September 2026. Details below reflect the current beta structure, which will continue to evolve through launch.

The program has two tracks that students engage with at the same time. Together, they build both breadth across skill categories and depth through real, structured projects.

Workshop Track (Group, Facilitated)

Workshops are live, virtual sessions where students come together as a group to work on a specific life skill. Each workshop is project-based and builds toward a meaningful, real-world outcome.

At the end of every workshop, students complete a Test-to-Pass, an objective and measurable assessment that confirms genuine skill mastery, not just attendance. Workshops also build toward a showcase event where students demonstrate their work to family members, peers, or outside audiences.

Workshop topics span the full breadth of life skills, from critical thinking and communication to grit, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. Students choose their workshops from a growing catalog based on their own interests.

Independent Challenge Track (Asynchronous, Self-Directed)

Independent challenges are standalone activities that students complete on their own, at their own pace, from wherever they are. They are designed to be accessible with minimal materials. A stair climb challenge, for example, only requires a set of stairs.

Students submit proof of completion for review. Challenges are mapped across the full spectrum of life skill categories so students develop breadth, not just strength in areas they already enjoy.

Age Grouping

Students are grouped by developmental stage, not just grade level. Current age bands are 3rd–5th grade and 6th–8th grade, and these are being refined through testing to better account for differences in cognitive development. Workshop content, facilitation style, and assessment expectations are calibrated to each group.

Progress Tracking and Recognition

The program uses a gamified skill tree so students can see their progress across skill categories. Completing challenges and workshops unlocks milestones and recognition. Students also build a living portfolio over time. Artifacts from their work are captured so they can look back on what they accomplished, share it for school applications, or show it to others. Students who complete their full age-band program earn hall of fame recognition.

Student Support

Students are paired with a member of the Life Skills team who provides more than just workshop facilitation. This includes ongoing check-ins, goal-setting, help navigating the challenge track, and personalized guidance throughout the program.

Parent Involvement

Parents are partners in this process. Families receive regular updates on what students are working on, including conversation starters and ways to reinforce skills at home. Workshop selections and any material requirements are communicated in advance. Showcase events give parents a front-row seat to their child's work and often put them in the role of audience, judge, or even opponent.

What to Expect During the Closed Beta

The beta is a collaborative process. Families who participate are helping shape the program alongside the team. The core educational philosophy and quality bar will not change, but specific formats, tools, scheduling, and structures will continue to evolve based on what the team learns through the testing windows leading up to September 2026.

Beta families are asked to share feedback through surveys and conversations. This input directly informs program decisions. Workshop offerings and scheduling during beta will be more limited than the full catalog available at launch.

Pricing details will be announced as the program approaches the September 2026 release.
