Summer Program: Overview and Pricing

What the Alpha Anywhere Summer Program is, who it is for, what it costs, and how to get started.

The Alpha Anywhere Summer Program is 10 focused weeks of personalized learning. Your child is assessed at the start with a MAP Growth test, works through a plan built around their actual level, and is assessed again at the end. You walk away with a concrete, standardized measure of how far they moved.

Families join for different reasons: your child needs to catch up in specific subjects, you want them to keep progressing through the summer instead of losing ground, or you want to experience how this model works before considering it further. The program meets your child where they are, regardless of why you are here.

Enrollment closes June 5. Visit our Summer Program page to learn more and get started.

Who Can Participate?

Your child needs to be at least 8 years old. There is no upper age limit. High school students are welcome as long as the program fits their goals.

Two things to know for high schoolers. First, this is not a high school program: there is no SAT prep, no AP prep, and no high school credit. Second, the program is most effective for high schoolers whose diagnostic shows knowledge gaps at an 8th-grade level or below. For students already working consistently above that, summer may not be the best use of their time, and we will be upfront about that on an enrollment call.

If you are not sure, complete the free assessment, and your Program Advisor will walk through it with you.

What Is Included?

Everything your child needs for 10 weeks of focused learning:

  • Core subjects: Math, Reading, Language Arts, Science

  • MAP Growth testing at the start and end of the program

  • A dedicated Breakthrough Coach (for the first 150 students who enroll)

  • Full access to the Alpha Anywhere learning platform

  • Alpha rewards system (same motivation tools our year-round students use)

All four core subjects are available to every student. Many families choose to go deep on one or two areas where their child needs the most help, while others work across all four. The program adapts to your child's goals.

Breakthrough Coaching is limited to the first 150 students. It is included at no extra cost for those who enroll early.

What Is the Summer Learning Plan?

After your child completes their diagnostic testing in Prep Week, you will receive a custom Summer Learning Plan. It shows three things:

  • Where your child is starting (their actual knowledge level, not their grade label)

  • The specific skills and content areas they will focus on

  • The daily time commitment the plan is built around

Use it to set expectations with your child, check in on progress weekly, and come to coaching conversations with a shared picture of where things stand.

When Does It Run?

The program runs for 10 weeks, from early June through late August:

  • Enrollment closes June 5

  • Prep Week starts June 8 (account setup, orientation, first logins)

  • Week 1 (June 15 to 19): MAP Growth testing

  • Weeks 2 to 9: learning and coaching

  • Week 10 (Aug 17 to 21): final MAP Growth testing

The MAP testing windows are what make the growth measurement meaningful, so these dates are fixed.

Can my child start late? No. Starting late compresses the learning window and reduces the growth we can measure for you. If the June 15 start does not work, the regular year-round Alpha Anywhere program has rolling enrollment, and you can join any month.

Can we do just one month? The Summer Program is a fixed 10-week commitment. A shorter window would not give us enough time to measure meaningful growth. If you want a shorter trial, our regular year-round program offers a month-by-month option with no auto-renewal. It does not include MAP testing or coaching.

What if we have holidays planned? A short family trip will not break the program. The platform works from anywhere with an internet connection. If you are looking at two or more weeks away, let your coach know ahead of Prep Week so it can be built into the plan.

Cost, Payment, and Guarantee

$3,000 per child for the full 10 weeks. One price, one offer, no add-ons or tiers.

You can pay in full upfront, or in two installments of $1,500 (due June 15 and July 15). Families enrolling more than one child receive a 5% sibling discount per child.

We offer a 21-day money-back guarantee. If it is not the right fit in the first three weeks, you get a full refund, no questions asked.

Can I Use ESA Funds?

Yes. ESA (Education Savings Account) funds are accepted in five states: Florida, Arizona, New Hampshire, Utah, and West Virginia. We provide invoices and receipts for reimbursement. Whether coaching is covered depends on your state's rules.

Beyond ESA and the sibling discount, we do not currently offer scholarships or financial aid for the Summer Program.
